Raheem Devaughn - The Love & War Masterpiece

First off let me jus say that Raheem's new album is a excellent buy.!! This brotha continually makes progress from album to album. This time around Raheem features a few guest artist from Cornell West to Ludacristo an all-star line up on "Nobody Wins A War" . My fav cut on the album is "I Don't Care". If im not wrong i originally heard this song with Ne-Yo on the vocals last summer. This song is really indicative of the albums feel. Its more uptempo then his first 2 albums. "Bulletproof" has a ole school feel to it with Ludacris guesting on it. "B.O.B" is sure to get a few snickers out of the fellas. Listen to that track and you will know what i mean. Raheem even address domestic violence on "Black & Blue". unlike many of todays albums Raheem speaks on alot of issues. He doesnt sidestep the issue of war on the feature heavy "Nobody Wins A War". With Jill Scott, Bilal, Anthony Hamilton, Algebra, Chrisette Michele, Shelby Johnson, Ledisi, Citizen Cope, Dwele, Chico Debarge, and Rudy Currence accompaning Raheem on vocals. Not many albums are made to be played from front to back but as usual you can put on this one and let it PLAY.
